About Our Lived Experience Group

Lived Experience Group

We are currently looking for people with lived experience of cognitive impairment and exploitation to take part in our research study. This means you, or someone you support, are affected by these issues.

If you decide to take part we will conduct a “narrative interview” which is an open-ended non-structured interview. This means you may tell us your story and experiences from your own perspective and in a way that feels right to you. All information you provide will be anonymized and any information which may identify you will be removed.

We are expecting these interviews to last around thirty minutes to an hour.

Interviews will take place face to face in a location that is convenient and comfortable for you. You are also welcome to have a friend or carer in attendance, to lend you support.

Participants who have lived experience will be offered a ‘thank you’ gift of £30 in shopping vouchers and expenses for any childcare or travel will be considered.

Your participation is voluntary and you would be free to withdraw at any time, without giving any reason, and without your legal rights being affected.
